The 1920 yearly report of the El Paso, Texas Chamber of Commerce



The El Paso Chamber of Commerce produced many publications detailing life in El Paso and extolling its many virtues. Approximately 1/3 features board meeting records from the Chamber's founding in 1896 until the publication of this issue in 1920. It otherwise has the usually features for a chamber publication. Of particular interest is the article by Otis Aultman where he gives a specific description of all the film he had taken until that time. The Aultman film is lost; therefore, this list is informative. Copies of many Chamber publications are no longer available either. Those that we have are valuable for looking at business history in early El Paso. Only one copy of this issue is known to exist. There is no index page. The Chamber of Commerce has graciously allowed the El Paso County Historical Society to scan and place on our web site the 1920 report.
