2020 Hall of Honor Update

Fellow El Pasoans,

As you know, COVID-19 has forced us to reevaluate much of this year’s programming and events. We are taking precautions to protect you and our volunteers.

As such, we have decided to postpone the 2020 Hall of Honor banquet. Nevertheless, we will still select four honorees and celebrate them in person at the 2021 Hall of Honor. We are also extending the nomination deadline to September 1, 2020. Please submit your nomination online at https://forms.gle/swnuG2zbP5DkApjB7. This year’s recipients will be notified by September 15, 2020.

In lieu of the banquet, this fall we will celebrate the 2020 honorees on our website, social media, and in Password. We will also hold a fundraising drive to help us preserve our archive, publish our region’s history in Password, further our community outreach, and foster historic preservation and research.

Please do not hesitate to reach us at epchs@elpasohistory.com with questions.

We hope you are well and remain safe.

Sincerely,

Melissa Hutson
